How do I bleed the pipes in my appartment?
I'm currently living on the basement floor of a 3 store building. I've asked my neighbours if they've been receiving heat. They've replied with, yes and its hot. Unfortunately I'm not getting the same results! The building manager is my buddy and would have no problem with me adjusting the heat because it saves him money.
In my apartment I have about 5 heaters connected to 1 main heater with a Faucet Tap on it. I'm curious if I were to open this and let it run for a little it would clear all the air pockets within the piping.

I think that could work, but I would try it on the 3rd level apartment if they will let you. Try opening it at the top first, then crack the bottom one, in your apartment. I would have the guess the water would settle to the bottom and the air would rise to the top. Then close the bottom, leave the top open and fill the system till you get water coming out of the top. That should eliminate the air in the system. Hope that helped. Merry Christmas.
