Faucet Foot Switch

Faucet Foot Switch
Does this sound unsanitary to you?

My dad went and unplugged the toilet today with this 4 foot long skewer thing. Anyway, once he gets that thing out of the toilet, he turns on the water in the bathtub and runs that thing that was just in the TOILET under the bathtub water pipe. He's using his hands to wipe off the end of the skewer that was maybe making contact with fecal matter from the toilet. Then he goes and touches the bathtub faucet, light switch, sink faucet, etc with his dirty hands.

Is this unsanitary or is it okay for him to be doing all this without cleaning off what he touched with his dirty hands, even if he got them rinsed off? Should I clean off what he touched because he isn't.

i think its quite unsanitary. and even if you aren't sure if something is unsanitary- if it makes you think twice, then it probably is. touching Anything on the toilet is not sanitary [the lid, handle, etc] so hands should be washed every time.
