If a car gets 30 miles per gallon, how many kilometers does it get per liter?
If a leaky water faucet loses 15 drops per minute, how many gallons per day of water are wasted/
I need help with all of these problems. also, i would appreciate if someone didnt just give the answer, but kinda walk through it. thanks a lot.
To solve these kind of problems, you do this:
(example with cubic metres and gallons, assuming 1 gallon equals K cubic metres.)
1 gallon_________K cubic metres
60 gallons_______X cubic metres
X = 60*K / 1
The formula is always the same. For the las two problems you need to apply this formula twice.
