Old shower knob is loose, how do I fix it?
I have an early 1960's shower knobs and Faucets. The knob for hot water is very loose, making it difficult to turn the hot water on and off. Usually I can fix this sort of problem by taking off a plastic cap on the knob and tightening the screw, but this piece is all in one and I have no idea how to fix it. Do I need new fixtures?

I've run into caps that are on the front of these, you can't see them they've been on so long they're part of the handle. Run a Stanley Box cutter blade around the edge you'll eventually find it. Pry it up and then change it. It'll be an afternoon challenge for you.
