What does it mean when your water faucet chokes?
I just moved into a new construction and it has a new water heater. When I turned on the hot water faucet to let the water pour just a little bit, it runs fine with a small steady stream. The second I turn the faucet more, the water will begin to pour sporadically like its choking and the faucet will shake. Are you suppose to break in a new water heater?
No, you don't break in a heater. You most likely have air in the system. Unscrew the aerator and turn the water on full blast. The water should clear up in several seconds.
